IQ: Did Charlie Brown provide you with early artistic inspiration?
IQ: Although you’re not Goose Tatum, are you a Harlem Globetrotter with a gander-inspired nickname?
IQ: Do you have 3 heads?
I haven’t been in this round because I knew I wouldn’t be able to do the next one if I won. But I skimmed it anyway a few minutes ago, and an answer came to me. And in that period astorian posted his most recent IQ. I think that has to be it.
Yeah, same here, although I’ll admit I had to consult the TCM webpage for clues. I was going to ask if he has more heads than feet if nobody else got it. I don’t really have time to keep track of the thread though, so that wouldn’t be too ideal.
Yes!!! I am Ghidorah AKA King Ghidorah AKA Monster Zero.
Godzilla kicked my ass in 6 movies, I kicked his once (in 2001’s Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah:Giant Monster All-Out Attack, when I got to be the hero), and Mothra kicked my ass on her own in an 8th film. I’m normally from outer space, but in one reboot I was the product of genetic engineering, and when I was a hero, I was an ancient guardian monster protecting Japan from Godzilla. I first appeared in 1965’s Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster. Last appearance was in 2004’s Godzilla:Final Wars
Your turn, astorian.
Way to go, astorian! I was just on the verge of asking myself if Inspector Gadget had originally been a Japanese creation (even though he didn’t fit some of the criteria).
Well done, astorian!! I never would have got there!
Just to clear up -
So you’re not Carlo Gesualdo, perhaps better known as the only ‘classical’ (actually, he’s late Renaissance.) composer to have committed murder, killing his wife and her lover on October 16, 1590.
His extreme use of odd harmonies caused Stravinsky to hang that moniker on him.
Okay, my turn…
We’ll start with the Letter*** “T.” ***
IQ: Did you use Colonel Kurtz as a character in a novel which was partially set in the Metro Toronto Reference Library?
This was Simpsons creator Matt Groening, BTW, whose early drawings of Akbar and Jeff were failed portraits of the Peanuts star.
As to T…
IQ: Did you once play yourself in a movie about an Appalachian trial?
I didn’t know anyone else had used this character from “Apocalypse Now.” Ask a DQ.
No, I am not Senator Fred Dalton Thompson.
Did you accompany Paul on several missionary journeys, as a young disciple to be mentored?
No, I am not Saint Timothy.
IQ: Were you the Republican Governor of Illinois through the 1980s?
No, I am not Big Jim Thompson.
IQ: Do you pity the foo?
