Reality is Millers do skunk and they should us brown bottles.
That’s not my reality. I’ve never had a skunky MHL. Always good beer when I find it.
I’ve recently switched back to MHL (or Miller Lite) from IPAs and other craft beers because I can drink more of them; and they’re more enjoyable when I’m out in the sun.
3 or 4 IPAs and I feel weighted down; I’ll take a 12 pack of Lite to the pool and I can enjoy them all afternoon.
Obligatory “Miller High Life? Fuck that shit! PABST BLUE RIBBON!!!”
Yup. I’m the exact same way. If I’m outside by the pool, or perhaps on the golf course or at a ball game, then I’ll do beers on the lighter side, like Coors Light, MGD, High Life, and if it’s affordable, an ice cold Modelo while out in the sun in quite enjoyable. And if you can find them, I really enjoy the 16oz aluminum bottle - keeps the beer frigid.
Now, if I’m out to dinner at a restaurant or bar & grill, then I’ll go for the more full bodied brews. Lagunitas, Leinenkugel, Samuel Adams…something to compliment the meal I’m having.
