My cousin gets his titties squeezed everyday because for an 11 year old boy he has big boobs, commonly called Boy Boobs.
I doubt he will be getting surgery so what exercises if any could get rid of those boobs so he could avoid future junior high titty twisters?
I would think weight training would help.
Another idea is to tell him to haul off and break the nose of the next kid who does it. The sight of one bully gushing blood would probably put a stop to it really quick.
(Or he could take the pacifist approach and go talk to the principal, but we all know how that’ll turn out.)
If the “boy boobs” are there because your cousin is carrying extra body fat, he’s up against the problem that you can’t spot reduce. No exercise in the world will melt away just that fat, and toning the muscles may help but won’t solve the problem because fat lies above the muscle layer. He has to reduce the fat he’s carrying all over, which means regular exercise and a healthier diet. What sort of exercise do you think he would enjoy enough to stick with? Weight training, bike riding, swimming maybe?
If he’s slender otherwise, but still has noticeable “boobs”, then please get him to a doctor! Some swelling under and around the nipple is not uncommon in boys going through puberty, but usually at a later age and rarely enough to be seen through clothing. Not that anything is necessarily wrong, but medical treatment might help him get through puberty without more than the usual share of trauma.
Regardless of the cause, he is being bullied. No one has the right to grab another person’s body without his or her permission. I’d start with finding out why this is being allowed to continue and seeing to it that the proper heads begin rolling. Good luck to him.

It’s a condition called gynecomastia, and can be treated by surgery. It’s not always just fat deposits. Often, men with this condition have breast tissue as well. Snippet from gynecomastia.org:
(I only know about this because I watch Plastic Surgery: Before and After on Discovery Health Channel.)
Averie is right on the money - for most young men they grow out of the condition.
However, if they don’t, surgery is the only option. Even weight training will have little impact if the problem is severe.
Hopefully your cousin will be one of the ones who grows out of it.
Ah the joys of the nipple cripple
Part of the fun of playground attacks.
Mine started to grow a bit when I was 11/12 then stopped
If/when his start to become less noticeable then the little playground freaks can be left to perform their titty twisters where it works best…on the girls
(I suppose I really should leave this thread. I don’t appear to be constructively adding to it :p)
He might have developed them due to hormonal changes, and they might stay or disappear. Combined with carrying some extra body fat, the condition can be more pronounced.
At his age, no matter which course of action someone receommends, it should come with the direct advise of a specialist. At his age,** even dieting should be handled by a doc**, as well as weight training and surgery.
Or, a wait and see approach can be taken.
My human sexuality text says
Aren’t they called “moobs”?
Seriously, benign gynecomastia is usually outgrown by the end of puberty. I hear sometimes laying off of beef can help (cattle may be hopped-up on estradiol and other sex hormones), though I don’t know if there’s much substance to that.
Breast tissue gets some of its bulk from fat, so one option, clearly, is to shed some pounds.
What’s pink and goes clockwise?
A pink clock hand. Duh! :wally
My cousin is somewhat overweight but has lost about 25 lbs because he has been doing alot of running and training for sports and he is seeing a difference in his body size except his chest still needs to flatten. So if he already shed about 25 lbs does anyone think after another 25 lbs he should see the boobs begin to flatten. Hopefully he doesn’t have to get surgery because of Gynecomastia, I mean I was under the impression it was just fat. The bad thing is that the more his stomach goes away it seems the bigger the boobs get.
As far as being bullied at school he says he wants to handle it on his own.
If his breasts are pronounced in relation to his current body, the proportions won’t change…they will stay relatively large for his body. While they get smaller as fat is shed, as a proportion to his body they will appear the same.
I am a teacher and my School has an anti-bullying policy (which the pupils helped to write).
Every School should be constantly opposing bullying. It should not be left to individuals.
Do your cousin’s family know about the bullying?
Have they contacted the School?
Does your cousin know of any teacher who can help?
Yes, Yes and Yes but his plan is to make friends with the bullies that’s why he is playing sports.
So you all are saying that the boobs will get smaller but will always stick out somewhat but what happens to the female body builders that practically lose their boobs and the boobs they have are supposed to be there… because whatver they do might be good for him.
Gynocomastia is a genetic condition (I have it) - it will not go away with weight loss, but may decrease in severity. As others have noted, a temporary case can develop with the pubescent hormonal peak, so don’t worry for a few years - if he gets to 20 and they remain regardless of body fat, it’s lipo time - or becoming self-confident enough to live with them.
START, take it from a kid who was bullied throughout school, your cousin is gonna have to crack that bully in the nose (as suggested by Abbie), to prevent further bullying. In this case (as in many others) the boy needs to stand his ground. It’s a hard lesson to learn, but a necessary one. Making friends (probably) isn’t the answer, but it’s situational, so YMMV.
Well it’s good he’s got a plan.
But firstly he’s being bullied daily. His plan will take time (even assuming it works).
Secondly are the gang bullying other people and what is the School doing?
