I watched the show for a while…
Well that sucks. I’m not a huge hot rod guy, but he really did turn out some beautiful cars.
For those that watched the show, I wonder how Blue Bear feels about this?
I’m more into European cars than hot rods, but I watched his show occasionally and it has to be said that given his choice of ‘genre’ (for want of a better word) he did great work.
Damn, that’s too bad.

I remember his cars and concept drawings from Hot Rod magazines when I was a teenager in the '70s. He was pretty avante garde then. The few times I saw his show, I couldn’t help but think he was doing the same stuff he was doing 30 years ago. However, he did it very, very well. He was a stickler for detail.
Wow-didn’t realize he was in his 60’s. I admired his sense of style, but after seeing him on TV, and realizing that he could be a real shit towards the guys making him look good, it put a blot on my thoughts of the guy.
