Brag about your new DVDs!

No DVD’s as Christmas presents, and my birthday has come and gone also with no DVD’s (though many other perfectly nice gifts).

However, I did buy a few DVD’s in the last month or so…

The Usual Suspects - Special Edition, a steal at $9.99
K-Pax - Basically free, as I got it as the freebie for a Buy 2, Get one Free deal
Scooby-Doo - For my youngest daughter, she loves it.
Lilo & Stitch - Also for my kids.
Finding Nemo - For all of us.
Two Towers - Extended Edition
Heavenly Creatures - The uncut version

I noticed Panic Room at Circuit City for $10, I might have to go snag that one later today.

I got lots of stuff:[ul][li]Indiana Jones boxed set[/li][li]Two Towers (extended edition)[/li][li]Clerks[/li][li]This is Spinal Tap[/li][li]Casablanca[/li][li]Memento[/li][li]The Usual Suspects[/li]The Rutles[/ul]

I got:

And through a mix-up with shipping, I ended up with an extra copy of The Thomas Crown Affair (the remake, with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo), a movie I’m not terribly fond of. Anyone care to trade?

I got the dvd collection of seasons one and two of ** The Trailer Park Boys **!!!

I’m so excited… you guys in the USA dont know what your missing! Hopefully you’ll get it on TV soon. It is my most favourite TV show, just the way they talk reminds me of grade school growing up with my fine friends.

And I found a pair of Bubbles glasses, so I’ll do a comparison and send them in.

Koyaanisqatsi
Powaqqatsi
Edward Scissorhands

and drumroll

The Complete Monty Python’s Flying Circus (45 episodes on 14 DVDs)

Rocky and Bullwinkle season one.
To Live
Ikiru
Leon Superbit
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Superbit

and finally,

Firefly, which a guy at the video store recommended that my wife get me instead of American Family (she told him I’m a Buffy fan), and which I’m most likely going to exchange for that set.

Chicago
Moulin Rouge
Finding Nemo
Fantasia 2000
Sex And The City
The Office
lots of freebies from friends who still work at the studios.

Next year, I intend to skip a mortgage payment and buy the entire set of LOTR…

All I got was the Michel Gondry: Directors Label dvd. But highly entertaining and from what I’ve heard, it’s the best of the Director’s Label series.

Incredible all you rich bastards, I didn’t know Bill Gates had such a big family.
