For obvious reasons I have tomorrow off, so I’m popping into the Burroughs-Libby continua buggy and heading back to the Infinite Library World. They’ve recently begun including DVDs & Blu-Rays as well as print in their inventory, so I’ll be picking up the Pushing Daisies season three DVD, as well as the entire box set of Faith the Vampire Slayer and the last seven seasons of Firefly.
For reasons that needn’t concern you, I will be nuking the place from orbit as soon as I leave. Can I get anything for y’all before the place is reduced to a smoking radioactive wasteland inhabited only by cockroaches?
Captain Sulu was SIX seasons long. The last one was kinda gay, though.
Well…scratch kinda. I mean, it was basically 1973 George Takei running around shirtless and having a series of meaningless sexual encounters with Orion slave boys as grieved for his lost off, Sarek. And there was that subplot of Uhura and Janice Rand finally getting together, also shirtless.
It was less a dream than a cruel joke I played on you for … well, okay, there wasn’t actually a reason.
The Fame video I saw on Saturday Night Live in the late 1970s, with all the famous portraits and pictures. Have never been able to find this since. This was the David Bowie track, not the stage show.
I wouldn’t mind a copy of the complete ten seasons of Misfit’s of Science, from the universe where James Cameron directed them. Also the compiled works of Whedon from the universe where he’s the dictator of North Korea with unlimited resources. Please make sure they’re subtitled.
Oh, and the original Shakespeare’s Plays from the universe with the holographic capture stones. I don’t have a capture stone altar, so can you make sure it’s in Earth-Standard Blue Ray format?
Could you bring me back a video of the Firefly cast party after Season 5? You know, the one everybody swears never happened. The one that caused Jewel and Summer to blush furiously every time they had a scene together for the next 6 months. The party that gave rise to all of those rumors about Nathan and Adam. That one?
I’d like the Alternate Universe Bablylon 5 that went the full five seasons under the original plan. Right now I’m rewatching season 4 and I’d like to see how it went if the final war against the Shadows and Vorlons went an entire season and not just six episodes.
I’ve got copies of the first three seasons of “Arrested Development”, but can’t seem to find my DVD sets for the last three seasons. Can you pick those up for me?
Oh yeah, and also the sixth season of LOST where they actually explained everything.
Mr. Rhymer, may I borrow the flaming bee cannon? The one that shoots flaming bees, not the normal bee cannon that’s actually on fire.
If you do a quick search of my posting history, you’ll notice I never make that mistake. I suspect you have uncovered a glitch in the Matrix.
Oh, also, can I get the good Matrix sequels?
I’d like the REAL series finale of the modern Battlestar Galactica. The finale that actually makes sense in the context of the rest of the series, and explains unanswered questions in some other way than “God did it” or “nevermind about that.”
Ditto the above for “LOST.”
I’d also like seasons 2 and 3 of both *Journeyman *and the U.S. Life on Mars.
And finally I’d like the big-screen live-action adaptation of Book One of Avatar: The Last Airbender that was directed by Brad Bird.
I’ve only seen 9 seasons of Seinfeld, I could use the next 12.
Also, I need that version of Star Trek 11 where DS9 and Voyager crew members transferred to the Enterprise and the Titan. Speaking of, how many seasons are there of Star Trek: Titan?
Batman: The Animated Series, seasons 4-10. Justice League Unlimited Seasons 4+.
The live action translation of the Slayers anime. The FX were pretty bad, but the lead’s hot, and they had fun doing it.
Oh, and the three seasons of the Men in Black TV show, the one on Thursday Nights? That was pretty great for low budget. And once people got used to a white J, it went along pretty well. I always thought it was funny they cast it from the comics.
