The sound of shoes scuffling against sand on asphalt. Or not even asphalt, the sand itself is pretty wretched.

What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
Mmm I’ve always wanted to be the owner of a large and evil hotel. Or maybe a writer…or teacher. (basically anything is better than my “profession” of student.)
