So you never been in a fight, but if some one shoots you they’d better make it count or they’ll be sorry. Tell me, Mongo, what are you going to do? Sit on them?
So… a kiddie once ran away from you when you were 9?
Excuse me while I almost wet myself in girlish terrified admiration.
swoons
Heh.
All the same, it would probably be best to not bother with firearms at all. Just send him a Candygram.
He meant Dio was going to kibbitz. Which would soon end up with him being by himself.
You are truly a fucking idiot. Accidentally crush any mice lately?
Nobody has claimed women are superior to men. We’ve been talking about equality all along, fuckbrain. Nice move blaming “Hollywood” for brainwashing us all into believing women shouldn’t be subservient to men, though. We uppity liberals sometimes need to be reminded who controls our thinking for us.
Now don’t you go dragging Oprah into this shit.
Sshh! No names! The more ambiguous “Hollywood” will help keep our secrets safe.
I’m curious about Brazil84’s username as well, not because of the numbers, but because the few Brazilian women I know would laugh themselves sick at his ideas. Or does it just again suggest that he wasn’t very invested in his username.
Given posting styles, your math is off. If the alleged “event” was 14 or 15 years ago, then the *definitely *not pretend “incident” was over a tricycle.
And he was probably the one who ran away, and it was probably a girl who scared him.
You just described joining the military.
Are you saying people who join the military aren’t making rational decisions?
Oh wait, now I see the road rage thread. Nevermind.
The point is that marriage by its very nature requires each partner to subordinate themselves to the other at least to some extent. So all you are doing is drawing a line and saying “oh no, that’s to much subordination and is objectively wrong!” It’s that last part I have a problem with–you think that where you have drawn the line is the objectively correct place, that your opinion of how things should be done is how they should be done. This carries over to your policy positions–payday loans, for example.

Jenaroph, do not alter other poster’s text inside of the quote box.

Soliloquy, if I’m reading this right, this is awful close to making a death threat against brazil84. Making threats of death or physical harm against other posters is against the board rules. Please don’t do this again.

Lighten up, Francis.
The people who “choose” to undergo FGM are rarely, if ever, women, but are instead young girls who “choose” it the same way ten-year-olds choose to go to Church.
Also “Shariah Law” and “living under Shariah Law” contrary to popular conception can mean lots of different things from living in a handful of countries where adulterers are executed and women are required to wear the Hijab to countries(including some western ones) where family matters are handled in religious courts to the use of arbitration for family disputes.
Careful, Dio, buckety might look in the thread where I got my signature. But really, I don’t think Dio is afraid of women so much as he’s afraid of his wife.
Absolutely. It was the stupidest fucking decision I ever made, that’s for sure.
No, it requires compromise and partnership, not subordination. If both people are “subordinating” themselves equally, then neither is subordinate.
