Quiche was OK, but fake lobster isn’t as good as fake crab. It’s edible, but I won’t make it again.
I got a lot done this weekend, and I’m looking forward to the 4-day weekend coming up. Huzzah!
I actaully had off on my day off. So I spent the day watching hockey ,and drinking beer.
I did a load of laundry.
I’m home!
The trip wasn’t too bad.
Not a lot of traffic. Good to see my friend, but she had other company so I didn’t stay long.
FCM to get from my friend’s House (Overlea) to my mother’s (the armpit), I have to take the Key Bridge or the Harbor Tunnel. I never carry cash, so I have to remember to grab some if I am going both places. We took the bridge because I would rather fall off a bridge than get crushed in a tunnel.
Still can’t find my TV. Everybody denies knowing what happened to it.
The damn Cat knocked my wall hanging off the wall.
That makes sense, sari. I didn’t know you had to head to Baltimore. I was trying to figure out where the bridge was between your place and your mom’s.
Enjoying a bowl of strawberries - I’ll be sad when the season is over. Frozen berries just aren’t the same.
When is cherry season? I got some great ones last year. I lurves me some cherries!
Since I retired, I forget there are such things as “holidays,”
My knees hurt and one is all swollen. First call tomorrow morning shall be to the old sawbones to see about some more chicken cartilage shots. Stoopid knees. And arthritis.
**swampy **- you need to track holidays, if only because of potential traffic issues. 
Strawberries are so yum! Dunno if we’ll be able to get any more, what with the rain on the way. Dunno if they’ll harvest in the rain.
You didn’t remember to sacrifice chickens; the Flightless Birds won big-time. I got so dulled out by the 3rd that I skipped the watching and concentrated on drinking. 
Work went well actually. We’re trying a totally new way of doing things (that we first did back when we opened – its that new) that works well. But at some point OPS will get tired of seeing us happy and go back to shoving everything down our throats. There are reasons we’re named after a real jungle.
Have we heard this story? I assume this is a TV at your mom’s, not the TV at your current house?
The a/c died today, just in time for our first mini-heat wave. Headed for the mid-90s 3 days in a row. Fortunately I found a very nice local guy who came out and got it fixed in no time (capacitor?).
Other than that, we have vegged.
Given you didn’t miss any points by the Legislature, that was a very smart decision.

Sunny your tale of a/c woes reminds me of a tale from long ago. I was the new kid in town about to start a new job on Moanday, replacin’ someone who had done a terrible job and had been fired. That Sunday mornin’ the a/c went out in the apartment I had just moved into on Firday. This was the last day of June in Jawja, mind you. Didn’t know what to do! It’s Sunday mornin’ and the only thing I could do was call the emergency contact number for the apartment manager which I just knew would do no good. However, I called. An hour later I got a call from a maintenance guy who said he was own his way. Lo and behold, he showed up shortly thereafter and fixed the a/c. I was ready to go check into a hotel to get a good night’s sleep. Needless to say, he became my most favorite person in the world and that apartment complex the best apartment place I ever lived. Thing is, every time there was any maintenance problem it got fixed post haste. Howzzat for meanderin’?
