Today I got up early and decided to stay up instead of going back to bed.

Wow - a second night in a row of sleeping in past my normal wake-up time. Huzzah!! I’ve been up less than an hour and so far, I’ve:

[li]fed Higgs[/li][li]loaded and run the dishwasher[/li][li]cleaned the critters’ fountain[/li][li]scooped the cat box[/li][li]hauled one basket of dirties to the laundry room, sorted the clothes, and started a load of towels[/li][/ul]
Ergo, I’m exhausted already! 
Today’s plans depend on FCD’s knees. If he’s up to it, we’ll finish the wiring in his shed. If not, I’ll drive ol’ John Deere around the back yard. Mostly, I’ll wing it today.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis <snerk> 69! <snerk> Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 82 and rain/tstorms/apocalypse this afternoon. It rained overnight. I woke up cause I had to pee and it was rainin’ and thunderin’. This was around four a.m. I went back to sleep until almost seven. The big plan today is to deheathenate. We shall grab N.O.L. somewhere as well. After that sloth ensues.

It’s cloudy and looks like it may rain.
Rain is predicted for the next 4 days, with temps in the high 60s and low 70s.
I hope it doesn’t rain today, because I have some things I want to load into the truck and bring home with me.
Getting packed up for the trip to the armpit. I want to leave around 10. We have a lot to take with us since I will be stopping by a friend’s house. All the dog stuff, and a bunch of cat stuff too. I have a box of canned cat food that the cat won’t eat, some kitty litter I don’t like, and an extra litter box that she can use. Also, giving her some laundry stuff that is scented, and a bunch of books.
I have to remember to take cash for the trip through the tunnel, or over the bridge. I have to get gas on the way, and pick up something to eat.
I hate trips to the armpit.
I hate the drive.
Up and dog walking done. My knees are bothering me as well. May be time for more injections.
Hoping to clean a little and of course there is always laundry and dog bath Sunday.

Coached two games in a row then immediately went out and refereed a game, all in hot (80F and up) and humid weather, so I was a little tired. But then went to a local Ice Cream shoppe and bought the kids whatever they wanted, so the season ended well (the boys finished 5-1-2 and the girls 7-0-1, so the coach did ok, too).
Then went home and slept for 4 hours, got up about 10:30 to read/watch tv for a bit, and then went back to bed until 7am. Got some cleaning to do and food (yesterday was a can of Pringles, a Mountain Dew, a triple scoop ice cream cone, and a large class of Cherry Kool-Aid…).
I’ll be back when sufficiently coherent again.
Which bridge? The only 2 toll bridges I can think of are the Key Bridge and the Nice Bridge, neither of which makes sense to me.
Oh, and BACK!! We were temporarily without Teh Intrarwebs!! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: But now we’re reconnected, so there is balance in the universe. Last load in the washer, and when it comes out of the drying, I’ve got a catio to paint. It’s actually a screened box that was supposed to be Scruffy’s crate, but she hated it and it was consigned to the attic. I saw it a few weeks ago when **FCD **was up there, and I pulled it out. We’re going to set it up outside the window between our desks and make a doorway so Taz can sit outside without being loose. But I’ve got to paint it - bare pine won’t do well outside for very long.
Other than that, just another day in paradise…
Morning all. Got up and picked up the week’s groceries, then came home and have done one load of dishes, made a breakfast casserole, and started one of the week’s crock-pot dinners. Overall a productive morning.

Between allergies & going to bed late (or should I say early - early morning); haid did not want to get up when the alarm went off this morning to do long race. So I rolled over for a bit & then got up to do LSD run. Turns out I realized that the way back was shorter than the way out by ½ mile.

[li]First I decided to run ¼ past the car & back to even it out. [/li][li]Then I said I’d run ½ past the car & walk back as a cool down. [/li][li]Then I decided to run ½ past the car & run back, but that would mean I’d finish on the ½ mile.[/li][li]So of course I ended up doing the ½ past the car + the ½ back + an extra almost½ loop to round me out (twas about a 10-12 parking spaces short), which, of course, I ran. [/ul] All in all, an extra 1½ miles & almost did as long as the race, but I did it solo, which is harder as there’s no one to pace off of or go after.[/li]
Tried to stop at the Wa on the way home but by 11:05 the Sizzli’s were all replaced with the afternoon fare. No I don’t want jalapeno poppers or a cream cheese stuffed pretzel. I’ve downed a Powerade but now need to forage for some sustenance & take a shower.
Back again - stoopit ISP! Wonder how long it will last this time.
Laundry is done. I’ve decided not to paint, because. Supper will be quiche with fake lobster lumps. That will also be my breakfast for the week.
It’s overcast and quite chilly, and I just don’t feel like doing anything. Maybe I’ll crochet the day away.

Just finished building a couple of quiches. But instead of using fake crab, I used fake LOBSTER!! FANCY!!! They’ll be done in about an hour, and I’ll have enough left over for at least 4 breakfasts this week, since **FCD **doesn’t eat leftover quiche. YUM!
I had to run to the dollar store to get some half-n-half, and it was a zoo! The woman checking out in front of me had a total just over $84! I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than $10 in there at a time. I’m guessing it’s convenience, because prices are better a few miles down the road.
Still overcast and dreary - much rain forecast for the next 3 days. But there’s a 4-day weekend ahead, so yay!
Howdy Y’all! We deheathenated, had N.O.L. at the Mayberry Diner, link may not work unless you do facebook, and, since the rain did not appear, spent some quality time at the cee-mint pond. I’m all showered and OYKW is preparin’ himself a tub bath. All in all, a very pleasant Sunday.
Sunny hope the infection clears up soonest. ICK!
ETA: A very good friend and co-parishioner placed flowers in the church in honor of mom. This is especially nice since the flowers were arranged by two other very good friends and co-parishoners. I have requested pics be sent to me, as the ones I took with my non-smart phone are crap, and will post a pic when I have one.
