Yes. We see her in Seson 3 episode 11. Its also the 1st episode Andrea & Brook appear in.
Im think Walt is back in ABQ to try & take down the nazi guys & get back whats his. His meth empire. His Gray Matter. Seeing Elliott & Gretchen (still doing well) on TV talking about him. Walt also finds out that his product (somebody else is cashing in on Walts idea/doing) is still being sold. So he knows that nazi guys are still selling it, & Jesse isnt dead. Seeing them & hearing them talk about him & the meth on TV gave him the motivation to keep fighting for whats his.
There’s so much going on that I don’t know where to start.
Have we seen the last of Saul?
Anyone think maybe Lydia will snub Todd and die because of it?
The whole thing with Todd and friends threatening Skyler just doesn’t work for me.
Why wouldn’t Skyler go straight outside to the police after those masked men have safely left, or at least call them on the phone in case the bad guys are still watching the house?
Why wouldn’t Todd and friends assume that she would do so? It seems like it was really stupid on their part to think she wouldn’t go to the police. Does it seem likely that Todd didn’t want to kill her because “she seemed like a nice lady”? That seems out of character for Todd.
It’s not like we can assume that Todd has a soft spot for pretty ladies, not after what he did to Andrea. But even if he does, Jack and crew would insist on killing her.
The only reason I can think of for not killing her would be that her murder would alert the authorities that someone else is involved and at large, but the continued presence of the blue meth does that.
I don’t think so… I think the Grey Matter couple is beyond his reach, and they haven’t invested enough in them to make them part of the main story line. They’ve always been backstory, or (like with this episode) something to move the plot along.
I don’t understand people who are saying Skyler should run to the police. Didn’t they mention Skyler has been charged with crimes? So presumably she’s out on bail. And she’s supposed to go to the police and say what? “Even though you guys had a squad car right outside that didn’t see anything, please believe me when I say that four masked men broke into my house and threatened me. No, I have no idea who they are, but they’re related to a brunette in sunglasses that I saw once a couple months ago. No, I don’t know her name either. So, when do I get to go to a safe house?”
Not going to happen. I’m not aware of any protective custody for criminals on trial, besides, you know, being in jail. And we know how that worked out.
For the finale I’m guessing like others have said, Walt realized by reading the papers that the blue meth is in the southwest and in Europe (the Lydia connection took it to eastern europe) and the murder of Andrea meant Jesse was alive and being kept as a slave to the nazis. I’m guessing he also figures that Lydia is willing to do some evil stuff to cut ties from herself to crime. So I don’t think Walt knows the nazis threatened his wife and kids, but I’m guessing he suspects it.
I find it interesting that that is exactly what Skyler was afraid of all along, that someone associated with crime would break into the house and try to hurt Walt’s family. It finally happened.
The ricin was for Lydia, the machine gun is for the nazis. Walt will free Jesse. I have no idea if Walt will survive or not though. I’m doubting it.
Probably. Just another life Walt ruined, although you can’t really feel too sorry for him.
I said something about that during the episode .It seems plausible, but I think Walt may get to her first.
Aside from the threat itself, there’s the fact that those guys just broke into the house while the police were watching. Doesn’t give you much confidence in the police, does it? And the cops aren’t there to protect her anyway. They’re there to make sure Walt doesn’t show up. Skyler isn’t the kind of witness the government bends over backward to help.
Maybe he has a soft spot for women that age. If Lydia had made it a condition of their partnership I bet he would’ve done it.
I think Grey Matter may be a thread because it is a way to get money to Skyler and the kids legitimately. And if so, I think the big gun could be for the gang and the ricin for them somehow.
But I’m ok with being wrong. I’ve been wrong about almost everything (in detail even if the general arcs are pretty clearly ordained).
And either way, looping back in his first failure to provide for his family in the way he now believes they deserve is great. It had been so long since I thought about them that when they first appeared on screen I couldn’t remember who they were.
Todd’s supposed to be a contradiction: a bloodless killer and a doe-eyed romantic, simultaneously. I mean, you might not believe those traits could co-exist, but that’s his character. Even when he killed Andrea, he apologized, beforehand. “It’s not personal.” The bottom-line is he’s crazy. Crazy-people morals aren’t the same as the rest of us. “She seemed nice” might be seem perfectly logical, if you’re a crazy-person.
And as far as Skyler and the police… We don’t know what she told them. We do know she’s no longer living in the same house. I don’t think she’d consider any promises to Todd to be binding.
But the thing is, she may well have told the police everything she knows already - which I think is: “This dark-haired lady came to the carwash in a rental car this one time…”
I’m a little skeptical that Walt could convince the Schwartzs to help out his family financially. Their past association with him is already hurting stock prices and they have no scruples about publicly minimizing their relationship with the Whites. “Oh that guy? Yeah, I think I remember him. He named the company or something, I think.” Okay, they didn’t say exactly that, but pretty close to it.
So the last thing they want is to be giving financial support to his family.
I can see one possibility though. Maybe whatever the original incident was, it was something bad enough that Walt could blackmail them into helping his family financially.
