Clicking the pink ribbon at http://health.yahoo.com/ donates a buck to the Susan G. Kolman foudation (this seems legit…at least according to yahoo)
Done! Great tip, Dave!
Did that one, too.
Thanks
Me too.
Thanks. Started to put it on myself but it only goes to $5,000 and I thought that many people had already seen it since October 15. Good job.
I did it. I’m also e-mailing some friends with the site so they can do it too. Great job beagledave!
I clicked it for my mom, who’s a breast cancer survivor (over 10 years).

Thank you Beagledave
I’ve lost two very good friends to that horrible disease.
'nuff said.
Another site where you can do the same thing is
At the bottom is the button for NFL FOR HER, click that. nfl.com will give $5 for each person visiting this site.
On my mother side both my grandmother and grandfather died from breastcancer and my mother has had a radical mastectomy.

Maybe I’m clueless here…but I couldnt find a mention on the NFL FOR HER site about this…is there another url that mentions this?
At http://www.nfl.com/nflforher they say “Help the NFL fight breast cancer. Log on to NFL.com on Tuesday, Oct. 24, the NFL’s Breast Cancer Awareness Day, and visit NFL For Her. The NFL will donate $5 for every page view, up to $50,000, to the Komen Foundation.”

Well this is weird…I viewed the page with IE 5 (on a Mac) and the bit about the donation is NOT visible…I view it with Netscape Navigator and it IS…sorry about that…
Beagledave, I posted this thread NFL and Breast Cancer at the same time this morning that you posted this one. It has all the info in it and has been here all day.
I just hope lots of people take the few seconds to make sure that all the money that is available is donated. The Yahoo site raised the donation level to $10,000.
