Nobody but me has noticed yet that “Sterger” spelled backwards is “regrets”?
A sportswriter for the LA Times said something about it Saturday. (I just happened across it in Peter King’s column.) But I hadn’t noticed and that’s pretty funny. King also suggests two masseuses may be suing Favre for sexual harrassment later this week.
Nothing at all strange about it. Whoever sent the pics and emails, authentic or not, to Deadspin timed it very specifically to get the largest attention. Presumably they were sold to Deadspin and Deadspin will pay the highest price when then know it’ll be all over the news due to the Favre primetime game. That’s the way reporting works these days. If someone gets dirt on a politician they are going to release it a week before the election.
I can’t wait to hear what Frank Caliendo does with this.
