Brett Favre cleared (sort of) in Sterger affair

True, though that story initially came to light months ago, in the days after the Sterger story broke.

I do find the timing of the lawsuit interesting, coming the day after the regular season (and, theoretically, Favre’s career) ended, and just a few days after the NFL finished its investigation of the Sterger story.

Please. It’s Favre the pevre.

Even that got masked by the Rex Ryan foot fetish story.

Don’t count on it. People always leap to silly conclusions that every marriage is Ward and June Cleaver. Favre’s marriage apparently is little more than a business arrangement best suited to serve his children. He knocked up his HS sweetheart, who may or may not have just been some one night stand at the time, and was away from her throughout college. Reading between the lines they simply got married because it was best for the kids and best for PR. Whispers around Green Bay seem to indicate that they actually spent little time together prior to his drug rehab and her cancer.

Just read the story. What the hell are you talking about? The “shit” in the story is essentially that Favre propositioned a couple women who turned him down. He wasn’t even particularly aggressive about it. Based on the things my female friends tell me the average guy is about 10 times worse. He sexted them, it wasn’t even in person where any menacing or other pressure could have been implied.

Whether they were rehired for the jobs may or may not amount to anything. If the Jets have a habit of cycling massage therapists in and out of their staff regularly through a third party then it’s probably not going to hold water since these women may never have had an expectation to be rehired in the first place.
