More food commentary: all food is welcome! I would probably join any folks interested in a curry run, jet lag permitting, because the more authentic London experiences one has, the better (plus I love Indian food).
Pastries are good, too. I suspect any that are provided will be consumed. If time permits, maybe I’ll bring some homebaked ones myself…will I get hassled in Customs? Any requests? I make a mean chocolate chip/macadamia or chocolate chip/hazelnut cookie, or even rugelach, but the latter dough is a pain in the neck because of the cream cheese. Do you guys even have rugelach? Here’s a recipe, to give you an idea (and as you can tell, like all true Jewish soul food, they sure aren’t diet food):
