Many years ago, a great aunt returned from a trip to London with a gift for my cousin…it was a very strage board game, with weird alien characters, that you moved around a board, somewat like “Monopoly”. By the time I inherited this game, a lot of the figures were broken and missing, but I can still remember the name of this game…it was something like “JOHILCO”.
Anyway…does this game still exist in England? What was the objective of plying it…and what were all the weird aliens doing in it?

Upon further Googling, I have reached the conclusion that Johilco was merely a manufacturer of toy soldiers that expanded into monsters & spacemen.
I suspect that the figures you recall were not actually part of a game, they were merely toy figurines (sp?) dumped into a game box.
