Britishisms I've adopted

In recent years I’ve found myself muttering “bugger” when something doesn’t go well.

I’ve had someone say that me saying “innit” for “isn’t it” was British sounding. It’s not intentional, just occasional laziness in enunciation.

London area, especially in immigrant communities.

I like the term “fuck all” for it’s blunt directness, even if so many ( make that, most ) think it means the opposite of what it actually means.

It doesn’t come up that often, but if I’ve used it and people misinterpret it they haven’t made it clear.

American English of course has
This food is shit = bad
This food is the shit = good
