This video is about the most fun I’ve had in a while.
(Is that Nancy Kerrigan being obliviously unclear on the concept at the beginning?)

Jamie Sale, Pairs skater.
That was a hoot! Thanks for the link, lissener. Who are those guys? The Nashvillage People?
I imagine the guys in the audience liked it as well, Jamie.
Oh, that was fun to watch. The guys were hot. Who cares if they’re gay?
I do! LOL. BTW. Nancy, I think the men in the audience are enjoying it more!
Jaime
Whoever she is, she plays the Michelle Williams/Anne Hathaway part very well!
She’s Olympic gold medalist Jaime Sale! Come on!
Arrested Development GoB throwaway
Here’s a pic of Jaime when she’s off ice, NSFW!!!
I’ll have to tell ya, I’m frequently, secretly fond of clips like that!
Well, actually, they’re mostly NOT gay here. This is from Stars on Ice a couple of years ago- and I can recognize Kurt Browning (married and a dad), Todd Sand (ditto), John Zimmerman (the hottest one) also married, David Pelletier (married to his partner the lovely Jaime), I can’t pick out the last 2, although one may well be Olympic champ Alexei Yagudin (single). So there’s at leat 4 married guys here. Not all figure skaters are gay, you know!
Yes, I know.
I don’t get it.
Definitely Yagudin in there, and I’ve always been under the impression that he’s straight. I have no idea who the last guy is though.

Perhaps not, but I doubt there are very many male figure skaters so deep in denial that they’d marry women despite being gay. Possible, but not real likely.
What I don’t get is why you think they’re portraying gay cowboys in the first place. Seems entirely plausible that they’re supposed to be taken as male strippers performing for women. And even if they were supposed to be portraying gay strippers rather than straight ones, why would Jaime be “obliviously unclear” just by saying that the women should like it? Lots of women apparently quite enjoy portrayals of gay guys, and given that there are likely a lot more straight women than gay men in the audience, I’m not seeing what she’s missing. Especially since her own husband is one of the skaters. In fact, I’m guessing she’s got a much clearer idea of what’s going on there than you do.
You offered it as proof. It’s not proof.
Dude, you’re making an issue where there is none. If you want to pick a fight please take it to the pit.
I offered nothing as proof. That was my first post in this thread.
And how am I picking a fight by questioning the OP a little bit? I was discussing. This is a discussion board, after all. Am I not allowed to not understand how you arrived at your conclusion? Don’t you get pitted enough without asking for more?
Nothing about it seemed gay to me at all, just fun and entertaining. I was wishing I could do that.
And maybe the fun comes from it being a group of guys who are willing to let go of the constant pressures to prove that you’re not gay, and just do something cool and fun. To me, that makes them seem so secure in themselves that they don’t care if people assume they’re gay. Almost making fun of the automatic reaction to a man who sets a toe outside the realm of ultra-macho. Good for them. It’s too bad any of my friends look at me funny and all-out avoid me if I express appreciation for something like this.
