Okay, kids. Here’s the thread containing her colorblind bullshit from an ATMB thread I challenged her on.
It pretty much starts here.
You misunderstand.
I am colorblind. I don’t see green very well. That’s what I meant by 10% of the population has trouble reading your posts. That wasn’t how it appeared to me exactly, it’s a simulation of the sort of the low contrast problem you generated for my vision.
This site is intended for web designer but it discusses color selection and text with several illustrations as to why that can be a problem for those of us whose color vision isn’t normal.
While I wasn’t as bothered by your color selection as many others here, it’s largely because I couldn’t see your posts very well. In many ways, it’s as if you were on “ignore” from my viewpoint. Unfortunate, if you were saying something I was interested in reading.
Then it goes on, and I challenge her here, where she starts to double down, and If IIRC, I eventually wear her down to say, “well I’m not THAAAAT colorblind.” :roll eyes:
It’s not that your green font annoyed me, it’s that I can not see it . Well, OK, if I spend time adjusting my monitor settings, or copy and paste your post into something else so I can change the color… 10% of the population at large has that problem with the font you used.
The following so you get an idea of what reading your posts is like for me. If you can’t read it then mouse over to highlight it.
Your green font results in a low-contrast situation for me which is very difficult to read. This should give you some idea of the problem.
Is that how you want to come across to one person in ten?
For an occasional post that’s one thing, but for every single post you make? Were you even aware of the problem?
Huh?
Using Photoshop’s Protanopia colorblindness preview, there’s no change in contrast against the white background of the board. Only a muddier change in hue.
This is the what simulated difference is in coloration:

That thread is classic Broomstick.
