Oh, I wouldn’t go so far as to say she’s delusional…there’s something weird going on there, who knows what. I don’t think she sets out to tell falsehoods or even stretch the truth on purpose. I think it’s more like a type of self-aggrandizement or narcissism that causes her to perceive her experiences as…bigger, I guess, than they actually are.
OK
In other words…delusional.
I guess. I think it’s a strong word, that I’m not sure quite fits the psychological profile, but I don’t feel strongly enough to argue about it.
That’s why I was saying earlier I would just love to have been a fly on the wall during her conversation with a priest about the Eucharist. I mean, I believe she had a conversation on that general topic. I just can’t imagine what he said that she could possibly have interpreted as “kept going on and on about how wonderful it was he ate the flesh and drank the blood of Christ every day.” Cause I’m quite certain those weren’t his exact words, but without knowing what he actually did say, I don’t know if I’d characterize it as delusional, hysterical, or just plain dumb.
Why are you forcing us to choose? WHY?
You must choose.
But, choose … wisely.
Ha! I guess I just think the answer here is more interesting than “she just makes shit up,” but she’ll never enlighten us so oh well.
Can we choose more than one?
Okay, kids. Here’s the thread containing her colorblind bullshit from an ATMB thread I challenged her on.
It pretty much starts here.
Then it goes on, and I challenge her here, where she starts to double down, and If IIRC, I eventually wear her down to say, “well I’m not THAAAAT colorblind.” :roll eyes:
That thread is classic Broomstick.
Ducati once landed a plane on a highway…just saying.

And it was a treadmill highway.
Checking cmyk’s links, I’ll report that I found the green font in question less readable than the usual black on grey. I am not colorblind to my knowledge. I’ll note that the poster with the exotic tastes in colors also presented a different font style (“Palatino Linotype”) which did not enhance readability.
FTR. I’m not invested enough to speculate on Broomstick’s intent. I see from this website that the yellowing of the eye with age can affect the ability to distinguish certain colors, though oddly this is not considered a form of color blindness. Then again, it’s suppose to affect violet and blue, but I’m not sure how comprehensive they were with regards to that side issue.

But really read what she was claiming. It was complete bunk and was not in line at all with actual colorblindness.

And it was a treadmill highway.
You’re done.

I’d warn anyone here who’s not familiar with her history to take her posts with the biggest grain of salt you can.
Sure, just go ahead and rub my salt allergy in my face.

Sure, just go ahead and rub my salt allergy in my face.
Salt allergies will probably be okay, but if you’re allergic to bullshit, your going to need medical attention quick, fast and in a hurry.

Sure, just go ahead and rub my salt allergy in my face.
Heh, at least you can afford salt.

Sure, just go ahead and rub my salt allergy in my face.
You just ASSUME that people LIKE ME can AFFORD luxuries like SALT?!

Okay, you sounded more like Broomstick.

Okay, you sounded more like Broomstick.
I’m sure someone here can code a Broomstick post generator.
The only time salt ever touches my skin is when tears of pain cascade down my face!
Several times a day, basically.
