Bucks Win It!!

Allow me to take this chance to just say, The Bucks are the greatest football team EVER. That is all. Thank you.

Man, was that a nail-biter! I figured Miami had a huge edge in overtime, but thanks to that horrible interference call, we squeaked through it. If only they’d had this season ten years ago, when I was there.

I’d predicted Miami would win big, but this is one of those times I don’t mind being wrong in the least!

Nice game, Buckeyes. Now, our local Texas Longhorns are the football factory with the longest championship drought!

I totally missed that interference call. Both my friends told me they saw it, but even though I watched it twice, I STILL dont see it. Meh, oh well. We still won!

Check out the what happens after the final play. As the field becomes enveloped by wellwishers, celebrators, and combatants, the football lays untouched at the one foot line. Ironic in this age of sports memorabilia mania where there is such a grotesque obsession with game artifacts.

I owe my co-worker a box of chocolates.

My former boss is a graduate of U. Miami. On Monday, I plan to deliver a box of candy buckeyes to his desk, anonymously. He’ll know who they’re from.

Great job, Buckeyes! This Bobcat is proud!

Man oh man what a great game. How cool is it to run basically the whole game neck-and-neck, have it tied on the last play of regulation, and then go into double overtime…when they’re playing for the national championship? And then the Buckeyes run not one, but two fourth-down plays in the first overtime, and Miami runs two fourth-down plays of their own in the second overtime. The whole last part of the game was a total chess match between the coaches. Wow. This really makes up for last year’s crappy game where Nebraska embarassed themselves.

Of course, this is easy for me to say now, but I swear its true. Everybody here at work yesterday were talking about how the Canes were going to kill Ohio St. I thought, Clarett’s healthy, and they got a good O-Line, I’ll bet its a really close game. (Mind you I didn’t know who would win, but I thought it’d be close.) I tried get somebody to give me Ohio St and the spread for $50, but they all backed down.

“Why should we give you points?”

“What does it matter, Miami’s gonna kill 'em, right?”

Had only one of them had the guts to backup their smack!!

I had a basketball game last night, so I just got to see the 2nd overtime. My brother told me that the pass interference call was a complete rip-off, but whatever.

Go Big Ten! 5-2!

Congrats to Ohio State. I’m an Ohio Native so I’m glad to see them win.
[sub]Though I am more of a Michigan fan.[/sub]

Congrats to Ohio State from me, too! I’m in Tallahassee, so I’m glad to see Miami lose.

(They’ve had so many narrow escapes during their win streak, it’s about time their luck ran out!)

I am very happy this morning. Being a fan of the Browns, Cavs, Indians, & Buckeyes, this is the first time since I was 2 that any of them have won a championship. (the '68 Buckeyes).

Go BROWNS !!!

:frowning: [sup]This year is not starting off good. Ohio State #1 is just too much![/sup]

:stuck_out_tongue: [sup]No, I’m not a Miami fan. I’d have rooted for Univ. of Iraq.[/sup]
