I’ll put it all in black, for those who are not spoiler junkies.
So, a lot of question marks from last week got clearer this week. I’m not giving away the true plot points, but there are som interesting twists in this episode.
It starts right where last week finished. The same night. Willow who now has seen the Big Bad - Morphy - and actually calls it Big Bad, is trying to comfort Dawn.
Xander is still on his whiney “I hate Spike”-tour and it’s getting to the point where it really annoys me.
There will be some comedy with Anya.
But mostly, the show revolves around Spike. Fans of the peroxide one will get a full serving this week. Has he been killing people, feeding? Is Morphy behind it? All is revealed.
And there is some interesting stuff going on in England. More of the hooded guys.
And the cliffhanger was really awful. I just hope there is an episode next week.
After the master piece last week, this was lamer, but much needed, tying up loose ends.
8/10
I won’t give away the plot details, but Xander has a line towards the end which is just too much. The buffon from seasons 1-3 is all gone. The wit and carefree style is just bitterness now. Get a grip or get gone from the show.
I’m whiney this week because I missed last week. It was preempted to a hockey game and the time that UPN50 said it was going to be on with text on the screen was false. It was Saturday night when I find out that instead of airing Sunday at 4pm it already happened earlier Saturday at 2:00pm when I was at the Michigan football game.
Why is it necessary to write about Xander in the spoiler box?
Anyways, the annoying thing about Xander isn’t the that he is whiny or he hates vampires souls or no souls. The thing that is annoying about Xander is the inconsitincy of how he is written. Two weeks ago, he got along with Spike just fine when searching out the jacket. Or like last year, most of the time he was unfunny comedic relief. I’ve actually liked what they’ve done him with this year with him maturing and acting for the most part like a grown up. He can still be the biggest jerk on the show though.
I just wanted to say that Mondays is the televison night for me. All new Buffy and Angel episodes. Paired with new, on the air, apisodes of C.S.I. and West Wing, I’m in couch potato heaven.

I haven’t even seen the episode yet and my shallow side is
already drooling over the thought of two Spikes, plus a lot of Spike in the "as much as you can legally show on network TV sense. And, hey, Gaspode, what do you mean our speculation. I’m the one who brought up the idea that cigarettes were significant.
Which is what i have been saying for the past week. Even if I wasn’t spoiled, the clues were there. I wonder though how people who think Spike is irredeemable will spin this?
