And let’s not forget Giles last season.

note to self… Osiris is the male and Isis is the female you clod.
Anyway… I would actually like to see Xander and Buffy hook up. But I wouldn’t mind it if they didn’t.
I don’t know about you guys but Evil Willow ain’t all that. She isn’t this all powerful uber-witch. Warren was able to sneak up on her and chop her in the back, I don’t doubt that if he had chopped her in the head that she would have died. He was able to capture her in that gel. Yes it did only last a few seconds but what if he had combined it with another gadget…like the Quidditch bomb or the freeze ray.
Buffy vs. Willow will be a good fight.
Xander’s face when Buffy suggested taking Dawn to Spike’s house seems to reflect MrAtoz’s attitude. Spike tried to rape Buffy, and in a way, she still trusts and defends him. Not the first woman in the world to do that. In fact, that rang truer for me then her hating Spike. She probably knows Spike better than anyone else in Sunnydale, and she trusts him with Dawn. She was with him after Glory nearly killed him for info on the Key, and he was very sincere when he said he’d rather die then betray her. Yes, he can be violent with Buffy. Still, I think she honestly felt that Dawn would be safe with him. Safer than anywhere else, really, because despite his gaping flaws and conflicted character, he probably would lay down his life for Dawn.
Well, it was explained - though that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a naked plot contrivance.
An episode or two later, Lindsey and Lilah walk into Lindsey’s office to find Dru and Darla there. Darla tell them they weren’t killed because Dru and Darla wanted them to act as their contacts with Wolfram & Hart.
Sua
I seriously doubt that. It seems to me that she clearly (and correctly) saw it as a rape attempt, but still recognized that Spike wouldn’t hurt Dawn.
Too funny. “Willow caught the Snitch!”
Mr. Green Fool, you have to remember that Warren wasn’t powerless. He knew Willow was coming, so he got all the help he could from Rack. She still shot him (slowly!), flayed him, and burned him without much problem. She even got to sneak in some psychological torture there. She also had no trouble stopping Buffy, Xander, and Anya when they tried to intervene. If Willow’s trying to kill Buffy (which I kinda doubt), the Buffster really has no chance without some Deus ex Machina. Like Willow somehow getting burned out. Which, come to mention it, is what I figure must happen. Joss has said in interviews (possible SPOILERS, but I doubt it) that the theme for next season is “Back to Year One” and, in the same interviews, that Willow won’t be a junky and Buffy won’t be miserable. The only way I can see to get Willow off the Horse is to have her be unable to get a supply anymore. Then, of course, we run into the problem of having no magic user on the show to perform any random spells they need next season…
Umm… Is Clem some sort of Heart-disease Demon?
Prince of Plaque?
Lord of Arteriosclerosis?
Not so far-fetched. Clem is a demon, after all. How do they know he won’t murder Dawn?
Quick question: It’s clear Willow wanted to do Warren in on her own, without Anya’s demon assistance…
But Anya’s power seems to be some potent stuff - Cordy’s wish turned the world upside down for a while, and she didn’t even wish vengeance on the ones who most directly transgressed against her (Xander and Willow).
Couldn’t Willow have wished, say, for the bullet that killed Tara to have never done so and perhaps ricocheted off a lamp or something to kill Warren?
I mean, Willow can’t bring Tara back from the dead with magic, but I have a feeling Anya could through a wish.
I don’t think Cordy’s wish actually changed the world, I think it just moved her to a parrallel reality in which Buffy never came to Sunnydale. Later, when Anya was trying to get her powers back with Willow’s help, she accidentally brought alternate-Willow into this reality. So, in that instance, Anya didn’t do anything more powerful than a dimension hop.
I’m sorry, but I just have to say that I love how blase this stuff makes us.
“Pff – a mere dimension hop. It’s not like she did anything difficult.”
stankow, oh yeah. Sounds like D&D to me!
[sub]Heart-Disease Demon, indeed. Haw![/sub]
The chip hasn’t worked for months. Spike just wants to believe that it works so he can stay near Buffy. That’s why the other demon thought he was so pitiful.
Good Will and Evil Willow are babes. But I felt that Vengeance Willow was wimpy. She just wasn’t able to pull off the angry avenger role. The scenes with Warren were painfully awkward.
Oo! Archmiachael, you and your wife are wise like Yoda. I think some of your WAGs may be on target.

A friend of mine is mighty annoyed with me because I spoiled several months of Angel for him by guessing the plotline. So far I’ve been right on target and so he thinks I’ve been channeling Joss.
I’ve been unable to channel Joss for Buffy however…

…Your friend must not be too bright.
I don’t know anyone who watches ANGEL regularly taht hasn’t pin-pointed every plot point this season.
But then again all of them have read X-MEN and X-Factor where this story was lifted from.
SPOILER ALERT
This from Wanda on Eonline, I’m just going to copy part of the q&a she had concering Buffy.
From laof420: I just have to say if the Buffy thing is false, you are just so cruel.
(Gulp.) I’m sorry! Forgive me. But it is somewhat close to the truth. After Willow turns to the dark side, an old friend does return to help save her. Giles. He and Anya work together to help cure Big Bad Willow of her thirst for blood.
From lynnwallkill: What’s up with Buffy & Spike? Does Buffy have real feelings for him? I love them together!
He certainly has real feelings for her. I’m hearing that in the finale, we find out that not only does Spike want the chip removed but he also wants a certain something that’d turn him into an Angel knockoff. I’ll give you a hint: It sounds Korean.
From jimdaniels: Can Xander and Anya PLEASE end up together?
I can only tell you this: In the finale, Anya confesses to Xander that she’s a demon again.
/end spoiler
Plus, Joss has already stated that there would be no Angel/Buffy crossovers. So, Cordy won’t be around to save the day. As it is, she may be quitting Angel soon, anyway.
Plus, Nicholas Brendan said in an interview that next season would be the last. Again,
Buh? He already knows. That’s how she could find Willow.
Not high-quality spoilers, methinks.
I just want to point out that writing down your own WAG does not require the Spoiler tag. Go ahead and guess, but it ain’t like you’re gospel or anything.
That said, I really liked the episode.
Darn it, I didn’t get chills once during this episode. Willow’s funky eyes, Evira hair, and monotone voice just didn’t cut it with me. She’s simply not menacing to me. Even after she skinned Warren.
