Bukkake Noodles

The wife and I had lunch today at a Japanese restaurant here in Waikiki, Marukame Udon. They had something on the menu called “bukkake udon.” Hmm. I was not brave enough to try it, being afraid it may be something like when you order that drink called a Blowjob in some places, and it involves staff drawing a big whip-cream penis on the bar and then taking your photo when you lick it up. (I’ve seen this happen in the Hard Rock Cafe in Singapore.) No telling what the staff would do to me if I ordered bukkake udon.

But coming home and googling it, I see it’s a real thing. So has anyone tried it?

Eh, too much sauce.

Googling the etymology of bukkake, it appears to originally have meant “splash,” so mayb a not unreasonable term for noodles in broth.

I’ve heard it said, if it involves sex or food, no one beats the Japanese. Guess it only makes sense to combine the two. But … ick.

Ah, something they’re not into for a change!

This is essentially like being afraid to order a cream pie in an American bakery.

I may or may not still be working my way up to that too. Rather not say.

Stay away from the banana.

By sheer coincidence, I happened to have had a bukkake party last night, but it was a disaster. Nobody came.

What a coincidence: I had a three-way last night. There were a couple no-shows, but I still had a good time.

That’s a shitty blowjob. Real blowjobsare awesome shooters.

The drink part was there too. Just so was the whipped-cream penis on the bar counter.

yep. first time I tried to eat udon was in Japan, and I had the brilliant idea to have curry udon.

and yes, I was wearing a white shirt.

Apropos of nothing, here’s a picture of a sushi roll which a local teriyaki place has dubbed the “John Holmes roll”.

That looks much more like the John Bobbit roll…

Is it a side dish, served with Spotted Dick?

How long was the line?

For the udon, I mean, not the bukkake.

If you hear a cheer come from the kitchen after you order, you might want to reconsider. When all the cooks come out in a line with smiles on their faces, you might want to run.

Nah, it’s just ice cream.

That place is very popular with the many Japanese tourists who visit here. There usually is a line stretching down the sidewalk, but the wait is not really very long. The food is excellent. Sitting near us was an American tourist couple and a Japanese family. The former asked the latter if this was pretty authentic fare, and the latter said yes, this was really good food.
