I agree that he should not have been asked the question. I agree that once asked, he should have replied none of your damn business. At the very least, he could have refused to answer and took his lumps. But he doesn’t get to lie under oath. The person being questioned doesn’t get to decide which questions are important enough to answer honestly.
I would say bush is neither moral nor immoral. He’s going about things with really only one tenet, promote the republican party and himself. He is pretty close to amorality.
Immorality is relative, as evidenced by the fact that many more Europeans think he is immoral than Americans.
But, according to the Christian doctrine he believes in, he is immoral. I don’t think any president has ever satisfied all of the ten commandments while in office. So he is either immoral or inconsistent with his professed beliefs, I’d say. Thats about par for the course for US president.
