Y’all know I have a low opinion of Bush. But this one, I don’t get. So he mumbled into his tie for a second or so - so frickin’ what?? (No, I can’t see this as even a smidgen of evidence that he’s losing his marbles.)
It’s not like there’s exactly a short supply of real stuff to Pit Bush about. Economy, deficits, falling dollar, Social Security, torture memos and possible executive orders, still lotsa people dying in Iraq, rehiring Rummy, giving Bremer a medal, pandering to homophobia, you name it. But this one - forget it.

I think that’s exactly what many posters’ problem with Reeder is – that he doesn’t find the real reasons. He merely swallows whatever the latest anti-Bush Blogger’s orgasm is and regurgitates it over here, expecting us all to ooh and aah at his obvious superiority.
Heck, I’m almost as conservative you can be and exist on this board for five years, and I really don’t mind people pitting the President for stuff that actually makes sense. But this? This inane-yet-fanatical obsession is just absurd, and well past its freshness date.
I’m not a fan of Bush by any means, but this is ridiculous. Bush is clearly looking down at the podium and to try and exhibit this as anything else is asinine. At worst, it simply seems like he’s searching for a word or unsure of what exactly to see. Big woop.
