I always feel weird going down to the pool when I’m alone. When I look in the pool area it seems like its mostly parents with kids. I’m not swimming laps or anything, but after a long day a swim sounds good. I guess I feel vulnerable in a swimsuit around strangers.
How about you? Am I being silly?
Hell, yeah. I’m leaving on a trip tomorrow and I can’t wait to hit the hot tub. (I’m female, btw)
ETA: Not “hell, yeah” you’re being silly, but “hell, yeah” I use the pool. I can understand feeling a bit out of place, but once you’re there in the pool, you’ll feel fine.
Female - I will if I have the time and there aren’t a bunch of beer drinking young guys in there.
The one time I got put up in a hotel with a pool, I used it. I did laps, though.
I go in topless all the time. Of course, I’m a guy, but pools are what I love about business travel.
