In fact, Fallows followed the election campaign for The Atlantic, and spent much of that time compiling a dossier of Trump statements and actions that were beyond the realms of respectable and intelligent political discourse. And in the very article linked by ThelmaLou, Fallows says that the main reason he stopped cataloguing Trump’s idiocy after the inauguration was that “the nature of the man is clear.”
