In all the updates from CalFire that I’ve heard, I don’t think anyone has complained about a shortage of water to fight the fires.
I think it’s safe to say that Trump has spent exactly 0% of his lifetime brain power on environmental issues. He must be parroting something he saw on Fox & Friends.

I own a great bumper sticker put out by my undergrad college that says “Prevent Forrest Fires, Support Strip Mining”. Someday it will go on my car because I think it’s funny.
Now Pres. Moron is using a similar line but he means it literally what a fucking idiot. What does he think the bulldozer operator that died was doing in the Carr Fire? He was bulldozing trees to cut a fire line. When the Carr fire started I was sitting on a lake about 10 miles away the reason they weren’t scooping and dumping out of that lake was the lack of air support due to all of the other fires not lack of water in the area.
In his defense he’s from New York, and the Hudson is only called a river out of a whimsy sense of tradition when, much like the Seine or the Thames, it should really be called a large scale open-air sewer/latrine. The president might not know that over 80% of US waterways do not originate in the local citizens’ kidneys.
