Butt-Hurt Trump Takes to Twitter Again (Part 1)

I think I know what he was getting at. The hurricane rating scale goes from category 1 to category 5, but it’s based on wind speed only. Florence was downgraded to category 1 as it approached land, which might have encouraged some people to believe it wouldn’t be a serious storm. But it also had a lot of rainfall, and was not very fast moving, so there would be prolonged rain in certain areas. So, even though this was “only” a category 1 storm, the rainfall made it more serious and destructive than a typical category 1 storm.

Trump found a uniquely inelegant way to express that idea, but there was something to it.

As certified by one of the fifty best Presidents we’ve ever had.

That’s not really the point. Trump may have been accurate in describing the size of the hurricane. It was the fact that he decided that he needed to explain that the concept of wetness involved water that was embarrassing.

How long do you think staff members last in this administration if they suggest that Trump is anything less than perfect at all times?

Apparently we’ve elected Derek Zoolander:

Its the kind of thing someone who thinks they are smart and want to appear smart say - especially when they are trying to sell something about it. (like how HIS administration and HIS people at HIS direction did such a wonderful job)

Look at it this way. Trump was told something, by someone more knowledgeable on the subject than he was, and Trump tried to remember the information and pass it on to people who needed to know it. You can’t expect someone to get a difficult job like that right the very first time he does it.

From this morning:

(bolding mine)Talking in third person, or written by aide?

Neither, he was quoting someone else and added it in his next tweet: “…The thing that’s lacking is we can’t properly secure the Border because of the Democrats historic level of Obstruction.” Senator David Perdue of Georgia.”

His next next tweet was to complain about no Wall money in the Spending Bill.

It carries over to the next tweet, it was a quote from Senator David Perdue of Georgia.

Didn’t see next tweet-thanks.

“The radical left lawyers want the FBI to get involved NOW. Why didn’t someone call the FBI 36 years ago?”

Among other things, he clearly has no idea how the FBI works.

Wait…what did he think was going on in 1982 that was comparable to his bullshit?

It’s worse than you’re even thinking. He’s talking about why Dr. Ford didn’t call the FBI at the time she was assaulted by Kavanaugh. That’s what he thinks is a devastating counter-attack.

I grew up in a time when “radical left” meant things like the Weather Underground. Now apparently it refers to people who think victims of sexual assault should be heard.

The ironic part is that he tweeted that exactly one minute after Kellyane Conway told MSNBC that Trump wouldn’t attack Ford because “he does the right thing”.

Or who think that females are people.

‘I’ll show YOU, Kellyanne! It’s not up to YOU to decide if I’m doing The Right Thing or not!!1!!!’

Post of the week.

When are people going to learn. If you want thump to do something, tell him the opposite. Likewise if you want him NOT to do something.

“Mr. President <gag>, you must NOT support Ford! You must publicly call her a liar! You must attack her character and do it promptly! Everything depends on this! You MUST do what I say!”
