There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor. Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!

He’s been president for two years and he still has no idea how the government works. I’ve met other people who managed to ignore the very essence of their own jobs for longer than that, but they didn’t have a budget the size of his or access to nuclear footballs.
Even if his opinion was supported by facts (and it’s most decidedly not) there is absolutely no worse time to bring up the topic of California forestry management and water resource allocation than while thousands of homes are in flames and people are dying.
The man is an absolutely fucking sociopath. As a Californian…as a HUMAN BEING…I am speechless with rage.
That’s what he wants. California didn’t go for him, so he wants to outrage californians. Also, human beings in general disapprove of him, so pissing off human beings is a bonus.
Want to do something about it? Get together with a few hundred thousand of your friends, move to north and south dakota, and VOTE!
He is so despicable. It looks like Armageddon out there and hundreds and hundreds of people have lost everything they’ve ever owned. He can’t show an ounce of empathy.
He truly makes me sick and I can not understand anyone defending him. I wish I could believe that he would get what he deserves, but he won’t. I’m sure he will die a relatively peaceful death with the best care available. He’s a fucking odious human being.
This is the guy whose reaction to 9/11 was “hooray, my building is now the tallest!” Expecting empathy from him is like expecting silk purses from a porcupine.
One of the things that scares me most on a personal, selfish level is if something major happens in my state/region. While smaller, it’s probably bluer than CA. At least NYC is relatively safe because he wouldn’t want to damage his own stuff. He’d flush New England down the toilet in a heartbeat. If he had a heart, that is. In a Big Mac beat?
