What are 2 things missing from the current administration?
The current Executive Director is former SC Governor David Beasley, nominated by more-recently-former SC Governor Nikki Hayley.
I was just browsing wikipedia and saw:
In February 2017, United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley (also a former South Carolina governor) nominated Beasley to be the next Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP).[12] United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres and U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization José Graziano da Silva appointed Beasley to the post in March 2017, saying the former governor brought “extensive experience with key governmental and business leaders and stakeholders around the world, with very strong resource mobilisation skills.”[13] Guterres also said Beasley had been among 23 applications/nominations for the position.[14]
Still doesn’t say jack fucking shit about the lying con man.
Hello? Is this thing on?
I think you have it on mute. Click the thing.
Did someone hear something?
“The country is going to hell. Vote Trump to get it there faster!”
“4 more years! 4 more years!”
I still find it utterly fascinating that human beings can muster the collective wisdom and intelligence to reach the moon but also hold contradictory concepts, like “The country is going to hell under Trump, so we should vote Trump to save us from Trump’s mistakes”.
Also, is anybody else aghast at the strange way he takes his mask off with 2 hands? I guess it’s all a part with the weird way he drinks water or walks down ramps, but there’s something wrong with his motor function.
It’s only contradictory if you hold on to the outdated belief that Trump is President of all 50 United States. He and his supporters firmly believe that he is president of the Red States, and it’s his job to make war on the Blue States.
I think you have hit the nail on the head.
The message in these tweets is
“California (New York etc) is going to hell. Elect me so we can continue to destroy these states.”
Absent a secession attempt, is it even possible for two parts of one country to go to war with each other? I’m curious because if not, that would seem to be a tacit admission that the Blue States are no longer part of the US, and are therefore free to form alliances with each other and/or other countries.
(From a denizen of Far Northern California, on the border with Soviet Canuckistan.)
Oh no, they’re still part of the country but a subordinate part that gets no say in things and to which anything number of horrible things can be done in the name of liberty or patriotism or some such nonsense. Foreign alliances would simply be additional proof they should not be trusted and need to be brought to hell for the collective good.
True, whether inadvertent or no.
Do we still get to pay for everything and try to keep ignorant red staters alive? I sure would hate to stop paying them not to grow corn.
Some years ago, there was talk, in Arizona, of cutting the big main power transmission line that fed electrical power to California. So…kinda?
85 years ago, Arizona & California nearly went to war over water rights.
And this ignorant red stater would take great satisfaction in not sending any meat, dairy, poultry or grain for you to eat.
Oh no, wherever else would we get agricultural products? Only red state America holds the secret to growing vegetables and raising livestock. It is why we must continue to pay them to pretend to be coal miners and subsidize ethanol.
You would have to be pretty ignorant to think that California and New York don’t produce agricultural products.
