Do you guys think that a man commenting on whether Ewan McGregor is attractive or not should have the same “weight” as a woman commenting on it?
Similarly for women vs men commenting on how attractive Angelina Jolie is.
I think Anniston and Jolie are incredibly overrated in terms of attractiveness and feel Amy Smart has no place in this thread. I’m also more of a leg man than a boob man, but I wouldn’t mind seeing Knightley getting some work done.
I think both of them are gorgeous, and they DO have very similar faces. Benicio is a bit puffier sometimes, but damn…they’re both easy on the eyes.
Her face isn’t that pretty. She has a nice body and big blonde hair, but she has a huge shnoz and that kind of sneering lipless smile you often see on Brittish chicks.
Laura Dern is one of those for me where sometimes she looks kinda weird, but other times really beautiful.
Eh, her body is kind of gross looking. Boobs are not meant to look like this.
I agree that she’s aging badly. When she was young, she really was quite naturally pretty, but screwed it all up by making herself into a parody of a Barbie Doll. Not just the boobs, either. The hair, the makeup, the nails… she’s a study in physical artifice. And, IMO, she’s so much *less * attractive that way.

True dat! AND, she doesn’t have a lot of acting talent, and my cat is funnier. Why on earth she seems to be staring in every second movie now is beyond me.
(And, why or why Tia Leone in the other half? I read a line about her role in the newest “Far Too Many Fucking Damn Kids” movie,a nd the review said it “wasted her talents”. Talents? She has talents?

OTOH Sandra Bernhard has both an ugly face and her bod is nothing to write home about. BUT- she can be very funny.
Fergie has some very sexy moves, so that helps a lot. She exudes sexyness, even if she isn’t “all that”. (OTOH there’s Beyonce who looks great, but exudes exactly zero sex appeal)
Nobody who saw her appearnce as “TCW” on Scrubs would say that!

OK, I’m trying to think of a butterface, but the only one that jumps to the top of my conciousness is Cobra Commander. Would he count, or does the fact that he’s a cartoon character discriminate him?

You know, I mostly agree with you. Selma Hayek has a pretty face, but I think the issue is that her body is so off the charts incredible that her face can’t keep up!
Penelope Cruz OTOH looks like a rat. She’s got a nice set of jumblies, no doubt, but she’s a butterface to me.
