Well, there doesn’t appear to be a sexist, objectifying thread active in CS right now, and that certainly isn’t natural, so I’ll start one!

What celebrities do you find possessed of a significant disconnect between the beauty of their faces and the quality of their bodies, or the other way around? In other words, you see her (or him) and say, “Nice body–but her FACE?” Or the reverse.

Links, of course, are welcome, as long as they’re safe for work.

I’ll start with two:

  1. Keira Knightley. Face beautiful beyond belief. Body not unlike that of my 13-year-old nephew.

  2. Illeana Douglas. Kick-ass bod. But that face–well, the best we can say is that she’s not actually ugly.

The queen of the butterfaces is Fergie, from the Black Eyes Peas. One of the most killer, sexiest bdoes I have ver seen, but damn, her face is not attractive. Also, from some stills I’ve seen taken of her in concert, she either sweats a lot from her crotch, or has incontinence issues. :eek: (I’m thinking most likely the former.)

I have heard Howard Stern go on about Sarah Jessica Parker and can’t really disagree, so I will go with her…

As for Keira Knightly - well, maybe she is slim and that is not normally my preference, but damn is she beautiful.

I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of overlap here with those “sexy but not beautiful” threads, like say, Juliette Lewis.

Wow, I gotta disagree with you about Juliette Lewis. I think she’s beautiful all around.

My vote for the OP would be Salma Hayek (although I’m sure many will disagree with me) and Renee Zellweger (during the Bridget Jones craze, when she had a healthy and very attractive body, IMO).

Serena Williams.

Both with rockin’ hard bodies. Big hips and big tits.

Serena has an interesting face, but I think you could swap it for something better. Tonya is a dog.

The actress who plays Vic Mackey’s wife on the Shield. Not that we’ve ever seen any skin on her but from the looks of it she has a really nice body… but her face… It has character.

I will Nominate **Drea de Matteo ** of Sopranos for Great Body, Not great face.

I actually like the way **Illeana Douglas ** looks, she is not Hollywood pretty but very interesting.

According to her IMDB page, yes, she is. And her best friend is Michael Chiklis’ wife in real life, apparently.

She might be skinny, but goddamn that’s one perfect face. She is stunningly beautiful.

I’ve always loved Illeana Douglas’ face. I’m not certain that my judgment is worth a lot in these matters, but she has a fascinating, beautiful face. Maybe she’s not sexy, but her face is magnetic.

Drea de Matteo? She has a perfectly lovely face.

My vote is Jennifer Aniston – decent if unremarkable body, exceptionally unattractive face.

My vote goes to Penelope Cruz.

That woman done hit every branch on her way down the ugly tree.

And for the boys, I also offer David Boreanaz. Turn the lights off already, eesh.

Oddly enough, I can’t really think of any guys. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever heard a woman say she was attracted to a man for his body, despite his ugly face. Maybe it’s because their clothing tends to be less revealing.
