Pfft. I dusted, cleaned the kitchen and bathroom, and recycled. Then I went to Pat Murnane’s for [del]one bourbon, one Scotch, one beer[/del]one Guinness, one Tullamore Dew, one Jameson. And to hear some dude play some Irish music from such notables as Don McClean and Jerry Garcia.:dubious:
Well doggio just go with “everyone’s Irish on st pats day” although i wish id of joined ya… of course id of had more that a few each …
here’s a tip if you ever get the 2 for 22 Applebee’s deal and you get the bourbon st chicken and shrimp … tell them no onions …ours had 4 inches of onions which soaked the sauce on top of the grilled shrimp and chicken which dried it out … Needless to say, we didn’t “eat good in the neighborhood” last night
Now for today, we’re doing the corned beef and cabbage thing which i hold my tongue on because I’m not the biggest fan of corned brisket … id rather have it in sauce outside on the grill …
Other than that tis a quiet day here
Our corned beef and cabbage, taters and carrots was the best ever. Hubby picked up a new instant pot type pot from a neighbor’s yard sale. Got a great deal and it was brand new. I made beef stew in it the other day but today’s CB was soo good. I am a fan so far.
Don’t wanna go back to irk. Blurf.
I got a few things done around the house today. It’s a wonder what not having transportation available will do for being a homebody. 
I can’t get the car towed until tomorrow and Enterprise won’t have something for me until then either. Advice: don’t get into an auto accident on the weekend. I decided to take the whole day off instead of half because I have a sneaking suspicion that I won’t have wheels until afternoon.

Other than that generally adulted and cleaned and sorted for flea-market and for antique market and for hauling to a gun show. Learned I had one more golf ball mortar than I remember getting. That makes (number deleted) when I actually only need two – maybe three. I may just actually sort through my Mausers and Lugers somewhat. Hey, ya gonna clean ya mite as well clean heavy. Will ponder.
Well, went to Red Robin (yum!) for dinner and over-indulged, so just chewed on a couple of pieces of rye bread with a Pepsi and that should be enough until tomorrow.
Been working on the soccer stuff, think I’ve got it pretty well planned, if I can get enough coaches…which is a BIG IF. We’ll see. Weather is supposed to be good this week (60’s and N.O.S.), so I’ll be out every afternoon except Wednesday this week with the kids.
FCM, I need to clean out my garage and re-organize it, but I’m thinking of hiring the neighbor’s kids to do it (with my supervision); lifting a ton, even if it’s just across the garage, sounds too much like work to me…
Red, hope Moanday works out.
I don’t like corned beef or cabbage, and I’m half-Irish. So shady and butters can have my share.

Howdy Y’all! Home from Evening Prayer and the meetin’ afterward. Both were good. I am lookin’ forward to this weekend with CDI. I like the trainin’ (really, I’ve decided I just might get sump’n out of this) and this weekend we’re goin’ to Honey Creek, our Diocesan retreat center which is a truly great and beautiful place. The biiiiiiig trash can got hauled all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow, and since tomorrow is men’s night, steaks are marinatin’ and beer is chillin’. All is good.

well im awaiting for the next 2 weeks of terror , nephews going to be here all week cause of spring break dad was supposed ot get the week after off but he dosent know how much hell actually get off …

Beautiful day today. The wife and I ate breakfast at Taco Bell, then hit the Honolulu Zoo, on the edge of Waikiki. The far side of Waikiki from where we live. Not too hot for the most part. A couple of light showers kept the air on the cool side. We are zoo members and so can enter anytime we like. It’s a nice zoo. They just had a bongo antelope born last month, but we could not see it. Must have been hiding, but it’s supposedly out in the enclosure now. Walked home by the beach along Kalakaua Avenue, where it was a little hot, but some Hawaiian shave ice took care of that.
