All right, so it’s been just over an hour. Who wants to predict when he’ll be back in to announce the weight of his beautiful healthy baby? I’m going with tomorrow (the 18th) early afternoon. 
While we’re at it, may as well predict the kid’s stats:
6 lbs 11 oz
18.5 inches
7 lbs 9 oz
20 inches
Where’s Mullinator already?!?
I figure the kid will pop on Sunday. 
I expect to make a similar post in late April.
Or not, since I don’t have a car, so I’m gonna make my wife walk to the hospital (which we can see from our apartment).
Well, labor is interesting. The stats? 6 lbs, 14 oz. 20 inches tall. Oh yeah, a girl named Kate, from here on out known as the MulliKateor. heh, maybe not.
I doubt that Cecil or Cecilia would have flown with my wife. Maybe our next dog.
She’s a cutie though. As time permits, I’ll post pics. Either watch this thread, or my signature on posts. Yep, I’ll have to dump the links to Giraffe eating urine sandwiches, but I figure my daughter supercedes bodily functions served as snacks.
My wife was in labor abour 4.5 hours, no drugs. She went from 6 cm to 10 cm in 15 minutes. 3 pushes later we had our human version of a jack in the box, without the tinkly music. Apparently the pain was immense, but manageable. Mom and baby are great. Mom is bounding around like a champ. Baby is pretty much limited to sleeping and breastfeeding, although she does like it when I walk her around and run through presidents, state capitals, and the lineup of every Cubs team from 1984. I start indoctrinating them young.
Thanks for all the good thoughts. Pictures coming soon. Well, as soon as will allow with a life in complete upheaval schedule wise. And, now I hear crying. Off to sing her “If I Had A Million Dollars” by the Barenaked Ladies.
