When someone is harassed and picked on in school, it’s awful. You don’t really have a choice about being there, and there’s not much you can do to escape it.
When someone is harasss and picked on at their job, it’s awful. While you’re usually not required by law to be at your job, most people still have to work, and there may it be other jobs available to them, at least not with equivalent pay and/or benefits.
When someone is harassed and picked on in a free Internet message board that they choose to patronize, and which they can leave at any moment simply by closing their web browser… that’s not really all that awful. Particularly when it’s not even the entire message board, but a single sub forum that exists for the specific purpose of giving people a place where they can be dicks to each other. Trying to white knight some unpleasant schmuck who’s too dumb to avoid the one place on the boards where people have free rein to tell him exactly what they think of them is kind of pathetic.
Don’t forget that Spanish culture, society, customs, history, law, and language is Spanish. Every post that fails to mention Spain explicitly is hopelessly Anglo-Ameri-centric.
