Calamari recipes anyone?

Hubby purchased a bag of frozen, cut up squid and a bag of panko breadcrumbs. This leads me to believe he would like some homemade calamari. Now I’m asking you culinary dopers, what is a good recipe for homemade fried calamari? If it helps, I do have a medium sized Fry Daddy deep frier.

All I do is dry the rings, and tentacles too, dredge in flour with some salt, pepper and red pepper. Fry until golden and serve with garlic mayo.
