It also seems as though we are all good with Yat’s on the SE corner of 54th and College. The address is 5363 N. College, for those of you who need to plug it in on a mapfinder. You may be able to find parking in front of the restaurant, but if not, the Atlas supermarket just north of the intersection at 54th and College is closed, so you should be able to park in that lot (or behind the building). One other note - Yat’s does NOT serve alcohol. They haven’t been there very long and I don’t know if they haven’t had the chance/don’t even want to get a liquor license.

No, no booze. However, there’s a GREAT bar right across the street - Ike and Jonesy’s, formerly The Bulldog. And if we’re craving cajun and booze, The Jazz Kitchen in Broad Ripple is very good, and won’t be busy during the week. They have outdoor seating, and usually live music (but doubtful during the week), so weather pending, that would be another option.

Bodypoet, you wouldn’t happen to have any lavender soap, would you? My husband’s got eczema (sp?), and lavender soap has helped in the past.
I’ll check on the lavender soap, avarie…if not, I may have a bar of honey oatmeal that’s very good for eczema (trusting your spelling, hell if I know.)

I’m really hoping they have Creole Italiano since it’s tomato-based. I may ask them to go light on the rice and skip the bread.
“Mudbug” - My husband always calls shrimp & lobster “giant sea bugs”, so I guess “mudbug” is perfect for crawfish.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll allow myself to go so far as to order my FAVORITE thing, BB&CC (black beans and carmelized corn). WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off the Atkins plan there!
I recruited another one! I’ll be bringing Mrs. Nott to Yat’s. Or, rather, we’ll both get there. She works in southeast Indy, and she’ll come from work to the DopeYat.
Mrs. Nott has never posted here, but she often reads over my shoulder.
Well, I may not be able to attend. My wife had gall bladder surgery and, while she is home now, she isn’t feeling all that well yet and needs some care.
With any luck, she’ll be back on her feet by then, but I really don’t know yet.
