Brave Sir Robin, my mom had her gall bladder removed last year and she was up and about fairly soon. Of course she had the non-invasive kind of surgery, if you can call surgery non-invasive. Hope she’s feeling 100 percent soon.

I’m taking a sociology class for my liberal arts degree. I just transfered to IUPUI and am getting the requirements I haven’t completed out of the way. The class is at Glendale Mall, which is on my way home from work! Nice.

I’m still undecided about my major, so I’m officially “Exploratory.” rowr!
In the fall, I have a class at Glendale Mall too - it’s about 3/4 mile from my house.
A class at Glendale Mall? Shoes 101? Advanced Latte? Lingerie Counseling? The politics of hard-to-find tools? The Writings of Orange Julius? Car Audio In The Post-Modern World?
Well, my professor is a nutcase, but the class seems like it will be interesting. It’s a sociology course. ‘Social Problems.’
Short commute for you, Avarie. Takes me about 1/2 hour to get from Glendale Mall to my apartment.

No, not at all. A friend and I have been planning a trip to the Grand Canyon, and the only week she can go is in June. I can take that silly class anytime, but I can’t see the Grand Canyon just anytime!
Of course meeting other Dopers is also a nice incentive. 
Man, TWO Dopers are going to the Grand Canyon this summer. I just get to go to Lexington, KY. 
I hope this gig is still on for tonight, May 20, 7:00pm. I’ll be leaving for Indy in a little while:D
