A recap: Jesus discovered America in 1892. He brought over a bunch of animals and ‘injuns’, and se them loose upon the continent, which he called ‘Murica’. Jesus realises he needs to feed all of these people, and turns a loaf of bread into a Thanksgiving feast. ‘And that’s the true story of Thanksgiving.’
I see the attempt at comedy. But it’s highly derivative of any number of other videos and standup routines that do the same thing. The delivery is supposed to be like someone telling a bedtime story. This sort of ‘parody’ is better delivered with rapid-fire dialogue, and usually has much more material.
It was… an attempt.

I look forward to him tackling the humor that is implicit in the Noah story; it has never been treated to a comedic turn. For example, if it occurred in the Modern Era and Noah were less than credulous. Whoever could imagine such untouched hilarity?
