Can 3 dumps in one evening = good?

Let me explain.

I’ve have worked the night shift for the last couple of years - 1900 to 0700 -and my shit stinks. I mean REALLY stinks. We only have the one toilet at works so, I guess, my body has trained itself to want to dump just once a day at 0730 which is five minutes after I get home.

Cool, no problemski, I dump indoors and no one is the wiser (stinky smell is gone by the time they all get up) until tonight. Tonight I have had 3 dumps!. 3 Proper dumps, you know, real logs and stuff, no effete pebble dashing of the porcelain.

Is this normal? In my defence, I did leave my nightshift job last Friday and I don’t start my new job till this Sunday. I probably have been overeating at mealtimes this week but, still, 3 times in an evening…hang on…I think it’s 4…

This must be the grossiest thing I’ve hear today… your todays winner for grossness.

IANAD, but I do have a lot of problems with the old gut bag myself, so let me toss in my two cents

I wouldn’t worry, unless there is blood in your stool, or you get the trots. Probably just the change in your routine or eating habits. If you start to feel generally unwell, and the pooping situation hasn’t changed, then I would go see a doctor, but if everything is running well, then I wouldn’t panic. This too, like all things, shall pass.

And, FTR record, 3 dumps in one night may not = good, but it feels good

He was/is just OVERLOADED with BS!

Not to worry. If they were all proper logs, then your body was just doing its job. Nix panicus. It’s when you get the drizzles that you start to question things.

“Normal” defecation is defined as anywhere from three times a day to three times a week. And you have to exceed these bounds for a while before it becomes a “chronic” condition.

People are variable. Bodies are variable. Eating is variable.

Not to worry.

Was this the first thread you opened today?

Back to the OP, if it was me, having healthy-looking movements, I wouldn’t worry. I have a 7-month old and his cycles change a lot too, from once every 2-3 days, to 3 times in one day, and his schedule is pretty regular. If you have no other symptoms, I personally wouldn’t worry if I was you, but standard disclaimers apply.

Eat less.

You’re probably normal–for you.

Start each meal with fruit. Keeps me regular. And soft. 'elps the 'emhoroids

Oh, and it never stinks.

Either you’re full of BS, or we are being whoooooooooshed here…hopefully it’s #2 for all our sakes.

Who said “we”? “It” is more like it.

Oh yeah, and if you we’re a race horse, I’d but 2 dollars to win on you now.
