I’m frustrated. I’ve been trying to get an artist name or song title for the last 3 hours.
Last summer, every morning I’d get up for work & watch a few videos on VH1 while I ate breakfast. And it seemed like this video was on every time I turned on the TV, all last summer. But I can’t remember a single line from the song…& I can’t remember the artist’s name.
But it was just a real laid back pop/dance song. The song had kind of a silly catchy beat, where I can totally see people line-dancing to this song. 
It had a really cute female lead singer, with long dark hair. It was a comical video, & the entire video takes place at a swimming pool. There’s a muscular 50-plus year-old lifeguard who keeps flexing his muscles, & a group of old ladies by the pool who keep checking him out. I think the cute lead singer at one point is doing synchronized dancing w/ a little boy…I think they both might have been wearing dive masks, snorkels, & fins. This was totally a last summer kind of song…haven’t heard it since. Well, this morning I got a hankering to hear it again. Can anyone help me out?
I’ve scanned a bunch of “top songs of 2011” lists, but I can’t find anything. This girl must have been a one-hit-wonder. I pretty sure she had a foreign sounding name. That’s all I got.
