I looked on Flags Of The World, googled, etc., but I can’t seem to figure this out…
I recently bought a used car that had this sticker on the bumper. Since then, I’ve seen quite a few of them, but I can’t figure out what they are. I don’t have a pic, so I’ll try to show you what I mean (the x’s represent solid color):
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Any clues? Thanks!
That’s a “Thin Blue Line” sticker. It identifies the owner of the vehicle as a police officer (or a friend of the police). Some people get them as supposedly the cops are less likely to pull over a vehicle showing such a sticker.
I always thought those stickers were advertising some band I am not familiar with. Another mystery solved.
Are you sure it wasn’t a “Leather Daddy” symbol?
Is it like any of these?
The one you mention is used for mourning purposes.
The first one in your first link, yes.
