Can anyone ID this horror movie for me?

Reading an old thread brought to mind something I saw as a kid on late night TV in the mid 70’s. Not sure if it was a movie or TV show, but the only thing I remember about it was there was a regular family in a regular house, and they somehow got possession of a odd/scary looking figurine about a foot tall, and the figure came to life and started attacking them. I remember one scene I think where they went in a room to hide, locked the door, and the figure broke through. Come to think of it, there may be a lot of shows or films with this premise. Can anyone help with a title, I would love to see this again.

Sounds like it could be ‘Trilogy of Terror.’ Was Karen Black in it, by any chance? I remember her being terrorized by a little doll but I don’t recall her having a family.

Trilogy of Terror

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073820/?fr=c2l0ZT1kZnx0dD0xfGZiPXV8cG49MHxrdz0xfHE9dHJpbG9neSBvZiB0ZXJyb3J8ZnQ9MXxteD0yMHxsbT01MDB8Y289MXxodG1sPTF8bm09MQ__;fc=1;ft=21;fm=1
First two stories were pretty lame, but the one with the voodoo doll has become somewhat of a cult classic.
