Can I be the only person stunned at just how badly President Joe Biden is doing?

Michael Moore is probably unelectable outside of Michigan. His first documentary was his best.

Joe Biden or Piers Morgan? Please be specific.

Come on.

You KNOW that JFK is returning from the dead to reveal that he is a Republican, right? And I’ve been told that Michael Moore is playing a very long game, and plans to run in 2148.

Here, class, is where the troll inevitably betrays himself.

Michael Moore 2024 … that’s made me laugh.

If there ever was an opening for him to run for president (or any office for that matter) it was in the 2000s when George W. Bush was president and Moore was at his peak as a filmmaker venturing into political advocacy which won him awards and made him a thorn to the Republicans. He hasn’t done anything that matches those heights since Bush left office.

Michael Moore? Seriously? Have you not left your home in 20 years?

I doubt he’s left his basement in 20 years.

I can’t believe that even a handful of Trumpkins think that Michael Moore is a player in Democratic politics. This is an exceptionally stupid opinion.

I can.

They are exceptionally stupid people.

He took over for Soros when the latter couldn’t deliver the goods, don’t 'cha know.

I agree that that may have been his best chance. I posted something similar here almost five years ago.

Has anyone ever urged him to run for high office?

This is what he said about it in 2018

Oh. Um. You know I was the first 18-year-old elected in the state of Michigan when they lowered the voting age to 18. I ran for board of education because I wanted to fire the principal and the assistant principal. I won, and a year later they were gone. So I learned at an early age that if you got involved, you could effect change. Then I retired from politics at 22. Everybody should do it. You should do it.

If one were being charitable, they might think he was referring instead to Mike Moore (American politician).

Of course, then we have the problem of figuring out why he used the name “Michael Moore”, which seems guaranteed to cause confusion with the much-better known filmmaker. Oh, and also why he thinks a relatively obscure politician who apparently hasn’t done anything significant since 2004 would think a primary challenge to an incumbent President was in any way a good or sensible idea.

It’s hard to change the programming in a device with limited RAM?

( Bet some of them think Hillary is an elected official too… )

And it was just as asinine and moronic back then as it is now. Not something worth bragging about.

Someone needs to let CHealy7 know he’s reading from the 2002 republican talking points. He needs to get the 2022 version. Easy enough mistake.

How are they different?

Well I had no idea personally that Michael Moore was still a liberal boogeyman. I associate him more with the Bush years. Republicans these days seem more obsessed with trying to scare people with the prospect of an AOC presidency or something similar.

Other than that, honestly, not much.

Can I be the only person stunned at the fact that this thread hasn’t been merged into the SRIOTD thread? It would let us start SRIOTD Mk III and put this stinker out of its our misery in one swell foop.
