[Disclaimer: No, I’m not proposing holy (or un, for that matter) matrimony. To check out this silly proposition :D, please read further.]

For any of those about to be married (or folks who are but were unable for whatever reason) and need an engagement ring, I have a free one to give.

Let’s just say that it’s in hope of incurring some much needed good karma. :slight_smile:

Anyway, the details are thus…

[li]Emerald in the center, but I have no idea what size, although it looks standard to me[/li][li]A small diamond on both sides of that[/li][li]Gold band and the white/silver stuff up around the stones[/li][li]Definitely vintage, I would think circa about 1930 ish[/li][li]Very pretty, IMHO[/li][li]And last of all, purchased (futilely, I might add, by someone best left unnamed) off eBay[/li][/ul]

So, in the interest of fair play, if you meet the criteria above, here’s what I’d like in return to ascertain a ‘winner.’ I need a name for the upcoming eBay (hehehe) shop of my own. I’m beginning to delve into making ACEO/ATC/ZNE art cards and I’ve got to, I think, do something to help them appear as desirable as possible.

I mean, who know if I’ll even be adequate at this?

My only caveat is that somehow/somewhere it include the word zen (in homage to my fabulous, World’s Most Wonderful Puppy ™, who bears that as his name). Besides, I am the uber neo-hippie.

If there’s anyone who wishes to know more about me to help in their choosing process, just yell. But fair warning, I am extremely boring. :stuck_out_tongue:

That said, I’ll keep a running tally somehow of where the standings are (if any) and have the cut-off deadline for Sunday at midnight, central time. Then I’ll post the Doper with my favorite and will simply need an address to send it to.

I dunno really. He looks a bit Chihuahua with big stand up ears. However, he’s got a weenie dog body and alternates between looking like a bat, prancing like a pony and nibbling like a deer (very odd tongue, that one). Any ideas?

Oh, and he’s mostly plain old brown with some black down his nose, white on his paws and the tips of his tail and spoiled rotten.

Independent and horror films, interior decorating, mostly classic rock music although I’ll give anything a shot (right now I’m into The Donnas, a little old school punk and the soundtrack to Garden State, all kinds of exotic foods, waitressing (I’m not sure how good of one I am yet), big city, volunteering at and AIDS hospice, eBay, etymology, amusement parks and parades (any kind of little kid type stuff), sweat shirts and jeans (I’m not in the least girlie) and trying to make things work with my bestfriend. And I used to want to be a junior high English teacher and left off with only my senior year to go because I’d formerly been agoraphobic/depressed/suicidal/anxiety ridden/yadda, yadda, yadda.

I’m doing much better now though.

Maybe that’s broad enough, but I’ll welcome any questions y’all got. As long as it’ not too TMI for the asker, I am an open book. :slight_smile:

I was thinking something like FaithFool’s TexZen Art Cards

It shows the Texas part of you and keeps Zen’s name in there. You could do something like “Down Home TexZen Arts & Crafts” etc.

Ah crap LV, sorry for not getting back sooner and for now having to resurrect this after so long. I had a family emergency to take care of and have been away from the computer in the interim. :frowning:
