I was remembering bits and pieces of a movie that I used to watch over and over when I was young. I can’t remember any dialogue, and only bits and pieces of the plot. All I remember is that a sword hilt that sometimes had a blade featured prominently, the hero was an escaped enslaved miner working for an evil humanoid robot with an annoying laugh, that red crystals were valuable for some reason, and that in the process of escaping from the mine, the hero goes to sleep, is infested by nasty-looking leaches, whom bloat and turn red on his blood before he awakens and rips them off.
I also remember a blind slave-miner child who got his eyesight back by the end of the movie.
So, does anyone know this movie’s title?
