No, it wasn’t. The question clearly implied why Jenna Jameson is so much more popular than other porn stars, all of whom are willing to have various things rammed in various places, many of whom are as attractive as Jameson.
Jameson’s popularity has to do with her ability to project a certain quality of intelligence and friendliness, as well as the other stuff that consist of the baseline appeal of porn stars in general.

I don’t think it’s superficial to say that size matters to a woman in terms of sexual pleasure. She was speaking from a strictly sexual standpoint, not an emotional one, and said there were definite physical and psychological (i.e., that women are more likely to orgasm when they know a guy’s packed) differences in having sex with a well-endowed guy, if everything else is considered equal.
I have no particular barrow to push here, except to say that i find the inflated chest look a real turn-off.
But i am curious about your first sentence. What evidence have you gathered that allows you to evaluate the relative intelligence of porn stars? Have you met a lot of them face-to-face and engaged in the sort of conversation that might provide an insight into their intellectual abilities? Do you have access to their school records? Have you seen a large enough sample of them interviewed in a way that allows them to display their intelligence (as opposed to the standard, porn-industry “when did you first do anal/lesbian/group?” interview)?
To say that Jenna seems a certain way is to say that she gives the impression of being a certain way. She gave me the impression that she’s more intelligent than some of her peers, which allows me to say things like she seems more intelligent than some of her peers. I’m not sure exactly why you have a problem with the sentence in question. Surely you didn’t think I was making a statement of fact there about anything other than my opinion?
Regarding your other questions:
I didn’t claim the ability to evaluate anybody’s intelligence; I merely mentioned the impression of intelligence I received from JJ. No, I have not met a lot of porn stars. I have, however, seen interviews with them. I’ve also read hundreds of pages of interviews of porn stars and commentary about those porn stars by people like Robert J. Stoller (RIP), a psychoanalyst and medical doctor with a professional interest in X-rated matters. Furthermore, I’ve perused a few other “respectable,” and even “scholarly,” books that discuss the world of porn and the people who populate it, as well as examined other sources of information about pornography. All of which has gone into papers, admittedly written at my humble undergraduate level, which were scrutinized and deemed “well-researched” by professors of various disciplines at various times. I say “various disciplines” because I like porn and related areas and will use it as a subject in classes ranging from English to mass communications to psychology. In the near future I look forward to writing about the subject in anthropology, if they let me. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be allowed to combine my interest in porn with my photography classes–not every professor is so liberal at my liberal arts college. 
Of course, I am also familiar with the standard, porn-industry “when did you first do anal/lesbian/group?” interviews as well. For the most part, though, I’ve only read snatches (heh) of such fare when my gaze accidently slipped away from the photographs which accompanied said interviews–-damn glossy slick paper.
So, though not an expert on porn or porn stars by any means, I do have something of an insight, feeble though it may be, into the minds of a number of people inhabiting that most interesting corner of the entertainment industry. Had I actually made a statement of fact–-something along the lines of “Jenna IS more intelligent than many of her peers”–I would be able to defend it with the evidence you seem to crave. However, the fact that I only voiced my subjective opinion in the casual and relaxed atmosphere of Café Society, where I’ve been led to understand that it is not generally required for one to gather evidence with which to defend such posts, I believe it unnecessary to provide all the information you request. And, currently, it would be imprudent for me to do so, anyway.
Goodness! I’ve practically written a paper here–-how did that happen? The caffeine, I guess. Anyway, I couldn’t tell with certainty from your tone, mhendo, whether you were picking on me to pick on me, picking on me because you found something wrong with my post, or just picking for more information, so I’ve tried to keep the tone of my reply neutral. Of course, I tried to keep this response brief, too, so who knows how this will be perceived–hopefully not belligerent.
Anyway, that’s enough for now. My show is on, and there’s still math to be done tonight, and all this dirty talk has turned my mind to things that might be done with the lovely young woman with whom I share a bed. So, if you’ll excuse me . . .
