I followed the instructions here, and I still get an “Extensions are not enabled” error when I go here to download Adblock.
Clue? Anyone?

Also suddenly my Yahoo IM won’t start up. Does anyone know if that has anything to do with Chrome compatibility issues? or with the change I made to regedit when following the above instructions???
You have to get the development version of Chrome, not the beta or the stable version. Adsweep no longer works with either of those. Just follow this link from inside Chrome to get to switch “channels” to the dev version. Restart, and it should switch over. Then go back and try to install Adsweep.
The Yahoo Messenger thing shouldn’t be related. Just try reinstalling (or repairing the install) from Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.
